The Kestrels made their intentions clear from the start eager to score past an ex. Albury player in goal for the opposition, with Josh scoring the opening goal just two minutes in. Followed quickly by Leon doubling the lead a minute later. Despite Albury's pressure, Onslow pulled one back in the 25th minute through a well-taken goal. Some lovely touches by Ben and Buddy just couldn’t be converted. More Onslow chances being denied by a storing Albury defence of Solomon, Jude and Jonah and some saves by Hugh in goal.

By halftime, the score was 2-1 but going Alburys way with many shots on goal and clutch of offsides.

In the second half Onslow came out strong testing Albury’s defence and Ben in goal, but Albury quickly regained control. Jack restored Albury's two-goal lead in the 37th minute, though Onslow responded a minute later to make it 3-2. From there, Albury’s attack couldn’t be stopped. Great runs by Gabriel and Leon helped open up Onslow’s defense. Gabriel found the net twice, first in the 40th minute and again in the 58th minute. Josh added another in the 61st minute, followed by Leon, who netted twice more in quick succession to complete his hat-trick by the 63rd minute sealing a well deserved win for Kestrels.
